We are seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Finance team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and an interest in finance to join a supportive and collaborative environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring payments are processed accurately and efficiently, supporting both internal and external stakeholders.
We also have a hybrid working model (minimum 2 days in the office).

Role responsibilities:
- Process invoices in an accurate and timely manner, applying appropriate VAT treatment.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate supplier records within the accounting systems.
- Assist in maintaining accounting records in line with the finance procedures manual.
- Prepare and produce reports to agreed deadlines.
- Post and code company credit card expenditure.
- Support the wider Finance team, including assistance with claims payment processes.
- Respond promptly to finance-related correspondence and queries.
- Assist with accruals and prepayments as required.
Experience required:
You’ll bring an analytical mindset, great communication skills, and a proactive attitude.
We’re looking for someone who can balance attention to detail with efficiency, and who enjoys working collaboratively within a team.
- Intermediate Excel skills (able to design and produce basic spreadsheets).
- Competent in Microsoft Word for internal and external communication.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
