From the beginnings of offshore wind, Members of the Shipowners' Club have been involved across the entire spectrum of operations, from site planning to installation and maintenance. As a leading insurer of specialist vessels, our Members were among the first to push into this now fast growing sector. As their knowledge and experience has grown, so has ours; in depth knowledge of our Members' operations, experience of putting together cover solutions, and an understanding of the offshore wind sector which has developed over many years.

We have many Members who identified offshore wind as a niche from the outset and have fleets entirely dedicated to this sector. Some of our Members have been at the forefront of vessel design and development, as vessels have evolved specifically to service this sector, distinct from offshore oil and gas. As this field continues to expand at a rapid pace, with new projects and new technology, we are proud to work with our Members, navigating the contracts and project insurance structures to ensure peace of mind for our Members through tailored cover solutions.
