We have a newly created role for a Corporate Responsibility Executive to join our team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, a quick learner and keen to grow within our insurance company. This role offers the chance to build on your Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) experience, particularly in regulatory environments. A relevant degree (or equivalent industry experience) such as environmental science, law, regulatory affairs or finance is required. Experience in ESG reporting and/or compliance is preferred along with experience of stakeholder engagement. We also have a hybrid working model (minimum 2 days in the office).

Overall responsibility of the Role:
To assist the Director of the department with the delivery of the Corporate Responsibility (CR) Strategy with a focus on ensuring timely compliance with regulatory matters.
Communication/engagement with stakeholders to ensure effective CR messaging and a thorough understanding of what is required from within the business to comply with regulation requirements and/or the Club’s CR strategic business plan.
Role Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret Corporate Responsibility (CR)/ESG regulatory developments across all the Club’s regulators to ensure compliance across all offices. This includes the liaison with internal stakeholders to advise and ensure tasks related to their area are understood and completed.
- Assist in the development and implementation of the company’s CR strategy.
- Maintain the CR/ESG related legislation spreadsheet and coordinate actions with different teams within the Club.
- Prepare, analyse, and submit CR/ESG-related reports, including emissions, sustainability efforts, and other data required for compliance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather the necessary KPI data for CR/ESG reporting.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders to provide them with appropriate CR/ESG related information to enable them to comply to their regulatory requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CR/ESG best practices and integrate these into the company's policies and procedures.
- Compare and benchmark the Club’s CR/ESG reporting with peers.
- Assist in the assessment of climate-related financial risk as part of the Club’s Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA).
- Be the focal point for the company when it comes to the CR/ESG regulatory matters.
- Support and facilitate work of the CR Working Group and CR Advisory Committee.
- Produce and deliver training to the business on CR/ESG topics and new regulatory requirements.
- Take a lead role in the Environmental, Community and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Committee work.
- Ad hoc projects as may be required from time to time.
Experience Required:
- Excellent organisational, administration skills and MS Office skills.
- Self-motivated to work both independently, with the CR working Group / Advisory Committee and the Club’s stakeholders.
- Possess excellent attention to detail and demonstrates a clear, accurate and concise reporting style.
- Effective communicator who can build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Technical knowledge and experience of ESG/sustainability including policies and reporting frameworks.
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent industry experience in a relevant ESG or CR role.
